Kimberly McColgan, Associate Director/Primary Teacher

Kim is the mother of two children and comes to The Montessori Academy with ten years of traditional preschool teaching experience in both parochial and private settings. She holds a Level II Certification with Delaware Association of Child Care and is in the process of acquiring her AMS Montessori Early Childhood credential through the Montessori Institute for Teacher Education. Kim is also pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at Wilmington College.

Doris Roth, Primary Teacher

Doris comes to us after teaching for 13 years for a local Friends Pre-school. In addition to her work at the Friends School, Doris has worked in an after care program for another local private school. Doris is enrolled in the Early Childhood program with the Montessori Institute for Teacher Education. Doris has two sons.

Stacey Henry, Primary Teacher

In addition to her experience working with her three children, Stacey brings with her many years of experience teaching and mentoring children in a variety of educational settings. Stacey is enrolled in the Early Childhood program with the Montessori Institute for Teacher Education.

Kishiya McKnight, Primary Teacher

Mother of one daughter, Kishiya comes to The Montessori Academy with eight years of experience in the Montessori early childhood classroom. She received her Montessori early childhood teaching credential from Delaware State University Montessori Teacher Education Program.
